CranioSacral Therapy for Pain Managment

Cranio Sacral Therapy (CST) is yet another treatment approach that can greatly optimize your function and your overall wellbeing. In a nutshell, the way CST works is this: circulating around the brain and the spinal cord is a fluid, the cerebral spinal fluid. The circulation of that fluid creates a rhythm within the body. Feeling of that rhythm with my hands shows me where the primary restrictions are within the soft tissues of your body. Then, utilizing a very light contact, a very light touch, those restrictions are released, allowing stress and dysfunction to be alleviated from the body. CST can be affective for people of all ages, from infancy to elder years.

Stresses and strains of your day are absorbed by your body and stored in your tissues which can tighten, and this can adversely affect your central nervous system and every other system of the body.

CranioSacral Therapy uses a light touch, the weight of a nickel to start, to find and release restrictions all the way down to the central nervous system.

When the central nervous system is freed of restrictions, it performs at its best, releasing pain and stress, improving your health overall.

CranioSacral therapy can be an effective choice for people of all ages, from pediatric to elders. A typical CranioSacral session can last up to an hour. The client is comfortably positioned on a treatment table, fully clothed throughout the session.

Conditions and Syndromes that can be helped include:

  • Headaches, including migraines
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  • Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ)
  • Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD)
  • Neck and back pain

  • Central Nervous System Injuries

  • Learning impairments
  • And many other conditions…
